It is with deep sadness that we inform you that our gracious founder, Ms. Charlotte Rodriguez Andrade, passed on Wednesday, July 15, 2020.
Members and Friends of the Hispanic Women of Weld County honor her for founding the organization in 1988, this year, 2020, we will celebrate our 32nd Anniversary.
Below is a section of her obituary (Greeley Tribune, July 19, 2020) that refers directly to her contribution to founding Hispanic Women of Weld County.
During her time at Aims, she founded the Hispanic Women of Weld County in 1988. This organization is dedicated to offering educational opportunities by providing scholarships for nontraditional students and through mentorships for groups of all ages.
Life Celebration visitation will be held from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm, Tuesday, July 21st 2020 at Adamson Life Celebration Home, 2000 47th Ave., Greeley, CO. A private burial will follow later that week.
We honor Charlotte for a lifetime of recognized contributions to her community.
